Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quran App — including our website, progressive web app (PWA), and Android application — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your use of Quran App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

Description of Service

Quran App is a modern Quran reading and listening application operated by Ali Tanwir. The service allows you to:

• Browse all 114 surahs or 30 juzs
• Read Arabic text with English and Hindi transliterations and translations
• Listen to verse audio recitations
• Bookmark verses and mark surahs or juzs as favourites
• Track reading progress automatically
• Optionally sign in to sync data across devices
• Install and use the app offline as a PWA or Android app (com.webnvision.quranapp)

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use Quran App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. You may use Quran App anonymously via a device identifier. If you choose to register:

• You must provide a valid email address and a secure password.
• Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include uppercase, lowercase, and numeric characters.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Authentication is handled by Supabase. Email confirmation may be required depending on server configuration.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content in a way that burdens our infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security features.
• Use automated tools to abuse APIs or authentication endpoints.

Content & Intellectual Property

The Quran App user interface, design, and application code are owned by the developer. Quran text, translations, and audio recitations are sourced from third-party providers, primarily alquran.cloud. Hindi transliteration was prepared manually using Google Transliterate.

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit app content or code without permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Quran App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

While efforts have been made to ensure accuracy, there may be mistakes in the translations or transliterations presented in this app. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the content.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that audio, offline functionality, or synced data will always be available. For matters of religious significance, please refer to authoritative sources and scholars.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ali Tanwir and Quran App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

This includes, without limitation, damages related to content inaccuracies, loss of data, service interruptions, or reliance on information provided by the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is zero for the free version).

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Quran App if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the service or other users.

You may stop using the service at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Quran App at any time, including features, content sources, or supported platforms. We may require you to update the PWA or Android app to continue using the service. We are not liable for any modification or discontinuation of the service.

Push Notifications

Quran App may offer push notifications in the future. If enabled, notifications require your explicit browser or device permission. Push notification functionality is not currently active in the app.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Quran App shall be resolved under those applicable local laws.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Quran App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
